Did anyone happen to catch the end of Bill O'Reilly's interview with Karl Rove last night? Bill mentioned THe Villages!! My husband and I looked at each other and laughed. Hey any publicity is good publicity.

Thanks BK. Does Red Buttons live at the Villages?

Sorry golfnut. There's a transcript to read instead of watching the video. I said it was near the end of the interview, meaning the transcript. Sorry you wasted your time.

Thanks BK... Bill O is ALWAYS on target and entertaining. Thus... the ratings.

Thanks Donna and rshoffer. I thought it was llighthearted and sorta silly. I really like O'Reilly. He's a straight shooter and always pithy. I think Red Buttons died about four years ago. Maybe Rove thinks they look alike. LOL

A while back when Beck was on O'Reilly they talked quite a bit about The Villages. Glenn was telling him how he and another guy took a golf cart and tried to get to Savannah Center. I think they started at Lake Sumter Landing. He said he was lost for an hour and a half. He spoke highly of The Villages.

Red Buttons was a spokesperson for "Century Village" in the 70's and 80's. There still are several complexes in South Florida. Could be wrong but don't believe he ever lived here.
