I will be in need of a PCP very soon and would like recommendations.
Has to be male, personable, age is not important. I had a really great one in NY that was caring and got ****ed when I didn't listen to him and I'm looking for the same.
Thanks, Steve

Ours is personable, young, smart, male. When I went for an appt. the other day I noticed I was the 18th patient to sign the sheet in the space of three hours, fifteen minutes. That's about 10 minutes per patient. That's enough time to send prescriptions off electronically but not to have a detailed health review.

One of the advantages of the Villages Health System, 30 minutes allocated and very seldom do they get behind (at least my doc). Now let the bashing begin :)

I totally agree with you Jomar. But I'm not going to recommend my doc there. How can anyone recommend to someone they don't even know.....everyone wants something different in their doctor. People need to do their own research. There is lots of info around about all the doctors.

Totally depends on your insurance. Here is another thread where it is discussed.
