Has anyone had any experience with the new computer system at Villages Health? We go to Colony Care Center and are very pleased with care, but new computer system does not seem to be going smoothly.

Entire process has slowed down. Unable to get lab results through portal. (So far)

It was discussed here right after the conversion to the new system about a month ago:

So apparently there are still issues?

Not much goes right at The Villages Health. They throw people at their problems when it lacks effective management.

Conclusion there was “no big deal”.
Quit worrying it will be fixed.

For a short time, I was unable to get to TV Health Portal. Then I realized I was using an old bookmark. When I went to the new TV Health main page and then clicked the link to the Portal, I got right in. So the problem I had was my own...an old bookmark/link. So just in case...make sure you're not using an old, possibly outdated way to access the new site.

Any time a new system is brought on board there are glitches and issues that need ironing out. It takes time for the bugs to be worked out.

I think everything is fine. They announced that the old records would be brought over at a later date in the letter we received. New information first then a purging.

I JUST saw my PCP this past week and was told to bring ALL my meds and supplements in their original bottles (which I did) then they were catalogued into the system. This is an accurate update rather than "hear say". I'm not an IT person, so don't know why that info isn't transposed from the earlier one. Change is hard for everyone when it comes to application, so with patience things will iron themselves out.
