Anybody know about The Independence 55+ in Millsboro DE? Need to get away from the heat and get closer to the beach. No sales and income tax in Delaware too.

Better double check that no income tax assumption.

You are 100% correct. No sales tax and the 4 th lowest property taxes in the country. Social Security is not taxed. If only Delaware was further South.

Schell Brothers offers special discounts in Independence 55+. Area designed after The Villages. I hope I'm not dissapointed since I've decided to move there. Thanks for the input.

My home will be on 29641 Van Buren. 6 months to build, not like TV. 41 days for a Gardenia.

Temperature very moderate and very little snow. No really bad weather (hurricane Etc) since 1851.

Thank you for the info John. Much appreciated. I don't play golf but like the beach and the scenery there. I also like the in and outside pools goo scenery there too. Been married for 56 years so the wife doesn't mind.

Good medical care there for us old foggies too.

Found out that the Developer gives a $25k discount when designing your home. Many options available. I think we will be very happy there.
