Vert interesting that as of January 1st ALL Nike products; shoes, equipment, sports gear, anything with a Nike logo is gone from all Villages golf and tennis retail locations. A few close out items remain only. Do not know the reasoning behind the decision, but for myself and quite a number of my close friends you could almost hear the round of applause.

Nike has gotten out of the golf business. Even Tiger Woods had to find another manufacturer

Thanks for the link.
Happy to hear that Nike profited in many ways from their ad. Not a Kapernick fan, but am a fan of truth, and people do learn and listen. And thanks to dsbouley for clarifying more truth about their departure from golf
Sad to see the usual folks in here jump to a "political" conclusion without bothering to research facts. Must get old to always be wrong because of easily being led by made up emotional lies.
Thanks again to those who post actual facts.
Also interesting to note when Nike announced they were getting out of golf.....AUGUST 2016....but we obviously have posters that attribute this to something other than a business decision.

Nike has only stopped making golf equipment but is still actively marketing apparel and accessories.

Shoes, but as seems s normal now, this entire story has been riddles with lies, half truths, and "made up" melodrama, so what's new

Shoes, but as seems s normal now, this entire story has been riddles with lies, half truths, and "made up" melodrama, so what's newI'm not sure if you're saying they only make golf shoes now but on their website they have a section titled Golf Clothing and Apparel. Golf Clothing & Apparel. Nike.com (https://store.nike.com/us/en_us/pw/golf-clothing/1mdZaha?ipp=99)
If I misunderstood what you were trying to say, I apologize.

Check out the PGA and other Golf Tours. No departure from golf except for equipment, this the truth. Their decision to promote a specific side in a controversial issue is not usually a smart move. Specific boycotts of Nike will probably not hurt their bottom line, but my permanent boycott sure make me feel GOOD!

You are right as usual.
Their golf line is shown on their Official site for this season;

I do not believe so at all in any way.
THE OP made it political......I have reported it as such also.
The last sentence of a post in discussion that is a BUSINESS story except when it is made a POLITICAL story by many on here is very clear.
Do you folks ever take a break from hating or fearing anything ?
