The online survey is now up and running. Please take just five minutes to fill out this survey for the new recreation area near Calumet Grove.
I thought it would be great if maybe we could have a lazy river attached to the beach entry pool. There are 19 acres of land to develop in what will be District 4.
If you too would like them add a LAZY RIVER in this new area then enter LAZY RIVER in the box for YOUR SUGGESTIONS.

That lazy river wasn't an option but an indoor pool was.

I'm in. If Fenny can have putt putt why can't somewhere else have lazy river. Fits in perfectly.

Says to enter it in the box for suggestions. I think it would be a great addition. Noodling on down the river. Diet coke in hand. Er...

Then on Independence Day, they could have a nice little...fireworks display. :D

Have your Villages ID number handy when you complete the survey. They ask for it.

Be lucky to get anything besides horseshoes, bocce, and shuffleboard. When this first came up I read that the developers was going to spring for pool?

I filled out the survey and I don't live in TV yet. As a person seriously considering moving there, I hope the Developer takes into account what future Villagers want.

I completed it, be careful to read the directions. 1 is your least choice and 3 is your favorite. Yes, I had to go back and start over.

How about a state of the art, super high roller coaster, (for the children)? Residence free, townies $5.00, a ride..Pays for itself in a year, or two. Then all gravy...Could be the new symbol of The Villages, you know like the Eiffel Tower...

I completed the survey and I added the lazy river to the suggestion area! One can only hope ....

The two things which I believe would enhance the Villages are:
1) Family Pools Only - Allow all water floats rather than restricting to only the noodle.
2) Post consistent visible easy to read signs with the name of each golf course, on the road which leads up to the golf course.

It's an option in the BOX that said other suggestions. Just enter it there. I've heard a Putt & Play like they have down in Fenney will be strongly considered. Imagine a lazy river going around the Putt & Play?

Imagine the fun that lazy river would be! It would work best if children were allowed only on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The rest of the time is adults only.

Just noticed in the paper that $6.5 million dollars is the budget for what will be the Calumet Grove Recreation Center complex. They already have a building on the site. You use to be the old church before the new yellow one was built. The money will go to rehab this building and so forth. The rest of the money will go to a pool, etc. Let's hope they will at least look into a lazy river on this site.

Only another week to vote. Do it ONLINE, and put in LAZY RIVER in the suggestion box.

We each, cannot have, every single thing we want...ever. And that is sometimes a good thing.

At the very least, it is less expensive.

The aspiring artist sighed as she wondered why there is no pencil sharpener in the art room...………….

Lazy River, no way! Have you seen Deliverance?

I think the aspiring artist and the poster aspiring for a lazy river each have something in common!

And I love the picture.

This is right near my house and a lazy river and a nice pool complex would be great as well as other things they have listed.

Calling it a "lazy" river...would be so unfair.

It's just on..."senior time."

Most people don't know this, but I was the body double for the actor Ned Beatty in that movie.
