I drove on 466A today and was surprised to see construction of a golf course South of 466A. There is a sign up but I was to busy looking at all of the construction to read it perhaps I will get past there soon and let you know what it says.
The constructions runs from Buena Vista Blvd to Morse Blvd on the South side of 466A. They are going full tilt.
If anyone knows exactly what it is Championship or Executive let us know. It looks to large for an Executive course my guess is Championship. I drive this road every couple of days and this construction just started in the last several days and they have gone fast. But all construction in The Villages goes fast.

Not sure about the course but my rep told me that she will have lots released to her around year's end (maybe 1Q 2011) south of 466A. So I'm not surprised that they are starting the infrastructure already.

Hope this link works, it's my thread from last week that mentions the sign that is down there.

The Golf Course scheduled to go in next to 466a between Morse and BV is Bonifay. It is Champ. Course. we have done some work with Landirr at the sign entrance off of 466a around the Pond in prep for the course. Mass Grading is happening for the course. The Morse Blvd extension should start soon going down to Hwy-44.

Any information as to how long it will take to build and then open? My first trip to The Villages the only thing open South of 466 was Palmer Resturant and course. No one had moved in to any homes South of 466 but the course was open. Many homes were under cunstruction at that time.
Any information when they will open Buena Vista from 466A To Hwy-44?

How long was it from the time the started construction of Palmer before they opened up any homes? If we know that then we can guesstimate how long below 466A will take.
