When you travel south on Rt 471 towards Webster there are several signs that say stop The Villages 9600 acres development keep Sumter rural. Anyone know what this is about ?

I too saw the signs. When the county decided to reroute 301, so that it won't go into Coleman, is when the signs went up. I think it's because they thought they would be selling their land for big dollars.

At last Census, Coleman had about 600 people. (Not counting the umm visitors in adjacent facilities)
