We had crown molding installed in our home today by Creative Carpentry Finish of Florida. I want to comment on their very professional service and installation. The team came and was very systematic the way they ran the company. The guys were all complete professionals. After the job was completed, the house was put back in order and cleaned. If anyone is interested in installing crown molding this is the company to call. Fair, honest, and all around professional. :)

Glad to hear you had a very positive experince with your contractor. However since every job is different and the workload varies between contractors, I would highly suggest everyone to get at least 3 bids on any construction/remodel job. Before you select a contractor, (ie sign a contract) ask to see his work and get references.

Also make certain when you compare bids that you are comparing apples to apples.....for Crown moulding make certain all bids are for the same size of moulding. 4 inch, 5 1/4 inch or 7 inch (sounds obvious but you would be amazed); How does the contractor splice the long 16 foot plus runs; Is painting of the crown included in the estimate and what type of paint will be used.

Crown moulding is one improvement that adds a "touch of class" to any home. We never had it before and it just looks great in our home!

Right on - terrific contractor. You will find many, many recommendations on the pages of this forum and you'll find some that will have to justify paying too much for the same job. It never fails. We had our job done in January and haven't one complaint. Several others on our street also had crown molding done by them after they saw our job. Creative Finish Carpentry of Florida is number one in our book. Oh, I forgot to mention that I got six estimates before we decided on them.

I used Creative also for my crown molding and am totally satisfied. They did a great job and I recommend them to anyone considering the application of crown molding.
