Deed restrictions and covenants may address it.

Seems excessive, to me. But, I have a neighbor whose two cars are always outside, 'cuz their two golf carts (both high-ticket ones) and his motorcycle "must" be garaged.

I don't really like it, but there's no trouble because of it, so I don't fuss, nor do any other neighbors!

You have a problem with people using their driveways to park their cars? I'm betting this post is a joke.

Unfortunately Steve, I doubt it.

actor - here is a link to a Sumter Country, District 8 deed restriction. I draw your attention to section 2.9:

The point is that, yes, it is a nuisance. And yes sometimes we get unlucky with our neighbors but your post was asking if there are any rules against either parking cars in a driveway or on the street.

There may be some overnight parking restrictions for the street (we have some in my town) but you can park all the cars you want in your driveway based on the deed restrictions I provided.

I fail to see how someone parking their cars in their driveway is a nuisance to anyone else. Yes, people parking in the street directly in front of your home could be a nuisance if your own guests could not park in front of your home; however, since you seem to prefer cars (including your own) to be parked inside the garage then there must be plenty of parking space available in your driveway for your guests. Am I thick but I don't see a question here. "Cars in the driveway" "x"
Then again a post "y" I assume Actor means Why? but Why what? I guess I am slow.

But thank you Russ for the link, I see no huge over 3/4 ton trucks no junkers and no boats or RVs. Personally the no junkers, Boats and RVs makes me very happy as a bunch of them in a neighborhood can look trashy.

I think actor just decided to delete the posts but since we can't delete...

I think we can all understand the frustration of having a lot of cars interfere with the normally understated look of most of TV. I think actor was just looking to see if the covenants or local rules could help.

To add, the only places that I am aware of, so far, where parking is not aloowed on the street is in CYV communities. It is spelled out in the cov, that vehicles must either be in your garage, or driveway. It also states which I see done, and is TOTALLY unenforced by CW, is that overflow parking in CYV is CLEARLY spelled out in the cov as being for VISITORS ONLY.
We also keep our car, golf cart and soon the Harley in our CYV garage. It can be done, IF you use the garage for vehicles and not storage.

The convenants for patio villas are the same as CYV's. These are private streets and. therefore, governed by The Villages regulations. This is different from the rest of lake and Sumter county roads which are public and under county law. It's puzzling though, that in some of the patio villa neighborhoods there is no visitor parking---too bad if you are having several guests over, they have no place to park!
