If you had the pick one thing about TV, what do you love the most?

Of course we could all list at least twenty things we love about The Bubble. It truly is the friendliest place I've ever lived.
But if I had to pick one thing that always impresses me, I most appreciate the pristine beauty. Litter is picked up as soon as it hits the ground!

I could think of many things, but,the first thing that popped into my mind was "golf cart living" .... how we get around here and where we can go and the beauty we see along the way is so unique.

I agree with BAREFOOT. The first thing that impressed me during our first 2007 Lifestyle Visit was the beauty of all the grounds. Everything is always manicured and free of liter.
Two visits later and the after the recent closing on the sale of our house in Alabama, we are now building in the Village of St. Charles. Our closing date is June 18th. We can't wait to make the move. We wish we could move the calendar up a couple of months, but, with all that there is to do in preparation of the move, the days should pass quickly enough.
Can't wait to meet all of our new neighbors.

I just love all of the activities here, be it golf, tennis, pickleball, pinocle, club meetings, meeting friends at restaurants, etc. I could go on and on, but you get my drift! :icon_wink:

Hand's down, the people. There is a true generosity of spirit here that I've never seen anywhere else. You can almost guaranty that someone will stop if you appear in distress (sometimes, even if you don't). There is great volunteerism here. People here are truly just wonderful.

Gee Red, I was just going to say the people.
Each and every funny, screwy, silly and caring and even cranky one of them.
You can't have good clubs, socials, games or neighbodhoods without them.

I agree with Red....the people are wonderful here. The beauty of the place is the icing on the cake! Well, then there's the golf cart access to just about EVERYTHING, lots of recreation, shops, places to eat, play, ....oh, you just asked for one thing... ;)

We looked at several retirement areas while making our decision. We decided on The Villages for one basic reason.
It is a great comfortable place for growing old....or older in. Everything is here.

I like the Art community and the beautiful things and people to draw and paint. I have NEVER been in such an enriched art environment in my life....not even in college.

I agree with THE GREAT FUMAR, "PICKING JUST ONE THING IS IMPOSSIBLE TO DO". Other responses as TV being immaculate and the people being extremely friendly were other things that impressed me.
Although, I have only visited TV once, I will attempt to answer my own question. My very first impression is that I felt going into recreation centers and other places, I was entering something like a five star rated establishment.
IMHO - My most lasting impression and what I loved most is, when listening to the music in the town squares, Katie Belles and talking to people is that I felt that I had stepped back in time to a kinder, gentler time of life when I was growing up.
