Publix is the most popular grocery store in Florida. Publix is the most popular grocery store in more states than Trader Joes is.

According to this survey

But survey's should always be taken with a grain of salt.... whether you get your salt at Trader Joe's or Publix :)

Just looked at Consumers Report......the readers score (that's us) rated Wegman's number one at 89, Market Basket, Trader Joes and Publix tied at 86, Fareway Stores, Costco and Military Commissary tied at 85. Guess it just depends on what survey you want to accept.

I love Costco, Trader Joe's, Wegman's and Publix. Each has its virtues.
