Let's talk jobs. I realize the The Villages are in this "bubble" that is somewhat isolated from the general population, but jobs effect everyone.
I feel that the media is purposely not reporting the job situation. For some reason, it was more important to report the "jobless recovery" from 2003- 2005. Why was that?
Without jobs social security and other entitlements could be in jeopardy. There is no "lock box" that has our SS funds with our names on it. All the entitlements feed from the same fund. That fund is fed daily from the taxes taken from the paychecks of our citizens.
I know for a fact that many Villagers are looking for jobs, either full or part-time. Many future villagers are making a decision on whether to make the move to Florida based on the job market.
Is the media protecting this regime in the White House by not fairly reporting the job situation? Should not the citizens get a better idea about the job market from the media to help us make decisions?
Seems that even Fox News seems reluctant to report on the real situation. Is this right?
