If you understand the Progressive agenda, you'll find this interesting. An article printed just after Obama's inauguration by The Progressive.

This link explains exactly why the progressive wing of the Democratic party is really Pd-off. My friends who are a part of that make me look like a conservitive...I told them he is not what you think.
One comment tho...why is it that everything the right puts out calls it an agenda like its exclusive to the Dem's.....the Repub's also have an agenda.
Just a comment

Oh he is exactly like what they think. You must be a member of the 48ers !
Remember all the sarcastic posting on here during the election season referrring sarcastically with all the LOL and funny little things printed to be so cutesy and they always referred to Republicans or anyone who defended Bush on ANYTHING as a member of the 36ers....I think that was the number...referring sarcastically and cute to the poll approval ratings. Will keep you advised as your club number decreases !

You are exactly right cologal. The Republicans do hava an agenda. So in fairness to the National Republican Party, let's give equal time for reading of their agenda and beliefs:
From their website. Who We (RNC) Are:

Beliefs:

I saw how upset some Democrats are at Obama about his swaying from the path of the Progressive Democrats of America agenda when they boo-ed and heckled him in California during a fundraising stop for Barbara Boxer. Excuse me ma'am, Senator Barbara Boxer. (Boxer didn't support the San Francisco’s legalization of gay marriage efforts.)
The protesters were members of GetEQUAL, a lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender group that also organized protests near the fundraiser and a protest last month at the White House where Army Lt. Dan Choi and former Army Capt. James Pietrangelo handcuffed themselves to a gate, according to the LA Independent.
“Let me say this -- :"Obama said, "when you've got an ally like Barbara Boxer and you've got an ally like me who are standing for the same thing, then you don't know exactly why you've got to holler because we already hear you,'' Obama said, drawing applause. “I mean, it would have made more sense to holler that at the people who oppose it.''

I could write volumes on this issue....so many LBGT people are progressives but they couldn't see or didn't want to believe the Obama wasn't really going to support them. To this day some of my friends, who would have normally supported Hillary, still cling to the hope that he will do something.
His recent support of a plan to require hospitals to allow partners to make decisions is clearly needed.
This statement is just down right funny:
“I mean, it would have made more sense to holler that at the people who oppose it.''
What is the deference? At least you know where they stand if they oppose something but something else again when they campaign in favor and then do nothing.
Remember at all times I was and still am a Hillary girl.
