What sort of training are you looking for?

My experience with trainers is they supply the do and don't and how factors which is about 10% of the job.
The other 90% is for the owner to follow up and abide by and use the do and don't and how.....CONSISTENTLY!!!!!
Hence for our last two dogs we knew enough already from previous dogs we had plus there is just about anything else you need to know on the internet...Dr. Google.
The trainer provides a, sort of, discipline setting expectation for the next lesson.
When all gets said and done you are the 90% factor in the training....save yourself some money and follow the many recommendation available on the internet......along with a generous dose of common sense....and most of all consistency and follow up....and then follow up again....and again.
My $3.94 (two cents adjusted for inflation).

There are a few different training methods. Some are the "corrective" style, and some are the "positive reinforcement" style. Before choosing a trainer, you should read up on them and decide which you want for your dog.
I dropped out of a training course once because the trainer insisted on a choke collar, and I wasn't going to yank my dog's neck in order to teach him something.
