Evidently the dirt moving operation next to the Waterfront Inn will eventually be the Edgewater Bungalows. They will be additional guest accommodations ready in time for next winter.

No rumor here, I saw the memo from Ms. Parr.

Just wondering if there is that much of a need for more lifestyle preview homes and snowbird rentals. Did not appear to me that all of the ones in Creekside Landing were filled this past winter.

I have a hunch Mr. Morse would not be developing them were there not a need. Could be Creekside Villas (or some of them) might be offered for sale and the new development will have more updated models. Could be winter is not the big season for lifestyle tours, as the rates are higher and people not yet retired tend to vacation more in other seasons.

A funny thing. With previous discussions as to what was going up there, e.g bowling alley, Premier homes, etc., The Villages CDD map dated 10/28/08 has the property listed as Edgewater Cottages. I suppose that the map could have been updated keeping the 10/28/08 date, but, if not, there is definitely some accurate long term planning.

You've opened my eyes with this map / link. It certainly shows a careful long-range plan.

Still, perhaps you've harmed the mystery! :pepper2:
