Went for a four day 1,100 mile road trip to Key West to return to one heck of a lot of new houses being sold in Marsh Bend and now two in The Village of Linden.

While the Keys have great weather and beautiful scenery, the costs of things there are a bit much. So, I was happy to return to The Villages.

I was thinking of taking a road trip and going to Key West. I didn't realize it was an 1,100 mile round trip. Did you drive straight through?

I live North of 466 and Google maps saves it is less than 450 miles each way driving and 7hrs. 45mins. driving time each way.

About 890 miles RT depending on how you go.

No, stopped in Clearwater to pick up a high school classmate and his wife to then stop in Naples to visit with a high school teacher of ours who is still alive and kicking. Our trips to and from Clearwater would have added 100 miles or so to the trip total. More would have been added driving around Naples and Key West.
