Facebook question

Today I went into Facebook and could pull up my "feed" just fine. BUT if I want to post anything, comments on a link etc. It gives me a "can't do this now, we're working on it!" Is this a FB issue or does it have something to do with my Chrome-book?? I don't know that FB has closed me out (as in FB jail) as I've not been controversial. I did turn it off and re-booted it and it still isn't working properly.

Got a news feed that Facebook and instagram are experiencing blackouts.

Facebook was down and when it came back it has hic cups.. it is still wonky.. instragram was also down this morning.. when Facebook is down I always go to Twitter and search "Facebook down" and it usually will give me info.

Thank you everyone!! That was a prompt answer(s) to my question. I don't use Twitter and only lurk on Instagram (family and friends)....so wouldn't have gotten the message, I don't think. KNEW folks here would help me out! Facebook is wonky enough without having technical issues.
