Did you try cortisone or gel shots? Cortisone helped my one knee, but not the other. Gel helped a little in that knee. My ortho doctor (Nguyen) recommended against surgery, said it would accelerate knee replacement.

Dr. Cook in the Sharon Morse Bldg and if knee replacement is necessary (by side approach) Dr. Williams. Same practice Advanced Orthopedics Institute. Dr. Cook repaired my broken wrist and Dr. Cook has replaced many knees on our street. Dr. Stephen Nguyen (Optimotion) in Orlando replaced both of my knees (side approach). Dr. Williams uses same approach now and is nearer to here and PT is also in Sharon Morse Bldg.

Dr. Locker did my hip about 2 weeks ago. On the day of my surgery, he did a total of 5 hips and 3 knees! Sorry I don't have any first hand knowledge about knees but for what it is worth, my Physical Therapist said that for hips she would only use Dr.Locker in Ocala and for knees she would only use Dr. Duke, also in Ocala.
