Hubby and I both heard the BOOM this morning. The news is reporting a silo explosion in Leesburg at an asphalt plant. No injuries reported.

Heard the boom then Our windows rattled, thought something happen in the house

Just after 6am...no further booms so figured it wasn't an attack(glad no one was hurt)...back to sleep...

Heard it too.

Thought at first it was lightning, but then pulled up the weather radar...and quickly ruled that out.

Thanks for the heads up on the cause. :thumbup:

I first thought it was a sonic boom since there was a loud one shortly followed by a slightly lower one.
