When I was a little kid my hair was blonde. Not just blonde, but almost white. My mother referred to me as a tow head. As I got older, my hair got a bit darker. In grade school it was medium blonde and by high school it was called dirty blonde.

As an adult it became medium brown and stayed that way for a long time.

I looked in the mirror this morning and I think I'm witnessing a miracle. I must be getting younger because it looks like my hair is going blonde again.

I'm simply happy to have hair, no matter the color.

What hair I have is nice. It started to fall out a lot in my third year of law school and my Middlebrook Hall roommate was quite amused. This was at the U of MN and my 3rd year roommate was a MD from a South Korean University who wanted to get a Ph.D here in the States to help with his teaching career. He was studying chemicals in mice's brains after he had put a lot of stress on them. Which seemed appropriate as I often felt like someone in a maze with a lot of mice while in law school.

My hair was blonde too when very young and I was ambidextrous too. My mother had the flu while I was born which affected my co-ordination and speech so I went through quite a tough time up through high school. I had to go to special ed classes when very young in a short bus.

Hmmmm, good time for a joke,
Blonde: What does IDK stand for?
Friend: I don't know!
Blonde: Oh my goodness, nobody does!

As a toddler I was a tow head too! Now I'm a fake tow head.

To your point... lots of sun maybe?

I think it is referred to as The sun experience. The sun is bleaching out your hair fellas. Mine should be turning blonde before too much longer

Yes Hair does change color, up until my early twenties I had ginger hair it then turned auburn and in fifties went dark brown. Its now silvery grey, which my Father used to refer to as "ChurchYard Blossom ".
