Must have been about 1958, I was on a New York City bus and took one of those tear offs about land in Florida and sent it in.
My entire income at the time was my allowance-I think it was .25
a week. At the time you could get a slice of pizza with a small coke for .25.
Wow, they were hounding me to buy.

Woulda, shoulda, mighta. Truth, I didn't see the potential and even if I did I would not have had the nerve or the ability to build this place.

Good article. Thanks for posting. I always wondered why Gary Morse did not have his biological father's last name and this article explained it!
