We are looking for bedroom and living room furniture. We purchased a pre-owned Begonia. Does anyone have any recommendations for furniture stores in Ocala? I see ads for Hudson’s Furniture.

Unless you have a particular reason to go to Ocala there is Family Furniture and Babettes in Leesburg. Babettes also has a store in Brownwood that has a lot of items though not anywhere near as much as in its Leesburg store.

Family Furniture - Furniture, Mattress, and Bedding in Leesburg, Apopka and Eustis FL (https://www.shopfamilyfurniture.com)

Babette'''s Furniture & Home (https://babettesonline.com)

We looked at those, but feel we may be able to get better deals in Ocala. Just exploring all the options.

We have used Blockers several times with no problems. Contact Us - Blocker's Furniture - Ocala, Gainesville, High Springs, Hawthorne, 34471 (https://www.blockersfurniture.com/contact-us.inc)

Had serious problems with Hudson and will not use them. Would not honor warranty although manufacture agreed product was defective.

On the way to Ocala - be sure to stop at Kent Furniture in Belleview - we furnished our house from there - great to work with and delivery to the Villages!

We bought almost everything at Blockers. They have a huge old Kmart building with thousands of items. The stuff is nicely middle of the road quality and price.

We got tired of looking at bad quality stuff at the cheap places, and also did not want to pay $3000 for a couch and have to wait 3 months for it to be delivered.

Ashley Home Store recently opened in Ocala. Like you, I wanted decent furniture but did not want high, high end. I found a bedroom set I liked there. I bought it with supposedly all the "deals" being offered. However, when I was home I went to their on-line store and found I could get it thru them for almost $400 less. So I called back the Ocala store and they matched my price and gave me money off. also, they tried to include furniture protection (about $359) and I had them take that off.

Save yourself sometime and check out inventory online. If you see something you like, then go see in person. I found a sectional i loved at Kanes . For no additional charge, they changed the arm style and I had a pick of several fabrics. Very happy with both quality, price and delivery.
