Has anyone had a successful or positive experience getting out of a timeshare mortgage?

Ask on Timeshare Users Group Online Discussion Forums (https://tugbbs.com/forums/index.php) Timeshare Users Group. Lots of great info.

I’m not positive but I think the Villages has a service that helps with that. Much like their relocation program

Clark Howard, the radio money guru, calls timeshares a "defective" product. After you buy one, it is worth practically nothing, and you have no control over increases in the annual maintenance costs.

I don't have any personal experience either, but, if Dave Ramsey recommends it, then I don't think it is a scam, like others services are. He has been recommending that service for several years.
