I had been able to print out my text messages using an app called Hammer Print. When I changed phones, I downloaded the new version of that app and it says that they are currently working with google to allow them to activate the app. Does anyone have another app or method that allows them to print their text messages? Thanks.

I usually just copy the text into an email and mail it to myself.

Also if you have a wifi HP printer, you can download the HP Connect app. If your text messaging service doesn't have a "print this text conversation" option, just take a snapshot of your screen (on a Samsung android cell phone it'd be pressing the sound-down and the power button at the same time, other phones probably have other configurations), and then print it from your gallery.
