With all of the cutbacks in local government I suppose parades were the first to go. I've looked at many websites, but there seem to be no Fourth of July parades in the area.
Our Model T Ford Club would LOVE to participate in one. We're Partiots and ready to go! Our antique cars are decked out in red, white, and blue. All we need is a parade.
If you hear of any, please let me know.
Thanks!

I should have thought that more than three model Ts going down the road together would be a parade!
You could drive 'round and 'round each square and let folks wave at you! 'Course if there are more of you, perhaps the sheriff ought to know!

...About 30 years ago, the then-mayor of the small community of Conyers, a suburb of Atlanta, created what he called, "The World's Smallest St. Patrick's Day Parade". The "parade" consisted of him and one city councilman marching down Main Street in green costumed finery.
The event has been held every year since, though it has long since grown into what could actually be considered a Parade.

Have been here nearly 8 years. I don't remember any on the 4th. St. Pat's is the big one, one in October (German American Club) and then the Christmas Parade at the Polo Field.
