I am looking for a Hasbro Scrabble CD - with @2002 written on the disk. The Readme says that it is version 2.0.

I would like to borrow it to see if I can get a session between the two PCs running Scrabble on a WiFi network.

I know that it is a long shot that they will connect with a 2002 version but it is worth the try.

If it is cheap enough ($5) I would consider buying it just to take it off of your hands.

I tried Marion Markets and they do not have it.

Thanks
Z

Z, You might try amazon and e-mail one of the sellers of the used copies to find out what version they have. Saw some for $0.10 (shipping $3.99) :22yikes:

Thanks. That was my next step - plus some of those discount game sites that sell games, etc.

Before spending any money or time on this project, I sent a note to Hasbro about playing Scrabble on two PCS in a WiFi environment. They referred me to Encore Software who actually writes the code and I found out that there is no way to play Scrabble on two PCs without using the GameSpy Arcade internet site. The explanation was "There is no other way where this will work due to the legacy direct play components this game utilizes."

So I guess this is a forget it project.

Thanks for the responses I got.
