Do all Cal's barber shops cut hair facing away from the mirror? I ask the barber why, and he told me he would have to stand on hard floor instead of mat. Well move the mat, DAH

Wont be long before they will need to sit down on the job.
I am so old I remember when barbers pulled teeth! :icon_wink:

I have been using Cal's in Brownwood, and I sit facing the mirror, does not help much when I remove my glasses.....

Yea .. What's the big deal ? If you're worried about what he's doing, maybe he shouldnt be your barber !

Great price no matter where they stand. Good haircut too.

Never thought it mattered,
but I do want my barber to be comfortable
when cutting my hair.
To me it makes sense for them to cut with
mirror at their back, all their equipment is handier and the floor cushions are there!

When I go to Cal's, I always tell the barber to not make me look too good, because I don't want to have to walk around The Villages with a stun gun.
