California earthquakes

Sending Prayers and good wishes to those in California who endured earthquakes in the last 48 hours.

And hopefully, those here in The Villages who have family and friends in that area have connected.

They are scary. Having experienced a few in the Aleutians, they simply terrify you.

Have family still there and they said the quakes got their attention. ( Personally, I don’t miss them one bit.) There have been and will be more aftershocks. My prayers are offered that lives are protected.

Thank you all for your good wishes!

Although they originated out in the desert in the Ridgecrest area I felt them both fairly significantly and lengthily in Newport Beach. The house rocked and rolled some and I heard a little joint creaking noise during the second one. They have been the main topic of conversation around here for a couple of days now!

A friend of mine felt the two main ones in the Las Vegas suburbs.
