The Facebook page for the Reno Aces had mentioned that he used to pitch for them when he was working his way up to the Majors.

That was a pretty amazing tribute on Saturday night.

As an avid baseball fan, and having witnessed a number of ceremonies commemorating players, this was right up there. and the way they did it with the no hitter and control of the game. Not much of a dry eye in that stadium on Saturday night.

Now we wait for the results of the tests to determine the cause of death for a young man in his prime.
