I take 7 grams of beet extract daily. Does a great job for blood pressure and glucose. Don't overepay, it can be expensive, just find a quality beet extract.

You can't beat a cheese (mature cheddar) and beetroot sandwich, with a hint of mayo!

Beetroot seems to be available almost year round, so I go with the real thing rather than supplements - the leaves can be cooked like spinach.

I tried super beets a few years ago. It definitely made my daily treadmill run easier. I had more energy, was able to run faster and longer and didn't tire out as quickly. On the other hand, they were expensive and didn't taste very good to me. I didn't re-order.

You can grow super beet micro greens on your table. The Villages are growing micro green vegetables in the new greenhouses. Check it out. Micro greens are packed with vitamins and nutrients, just throw them in your salad.

I get great fresh beets from Shroot Farms in Scranton, PA. The farmer is a little peculiar, but the beets are the best.
