Plans have been submitted to build a Dollar Tree next to PetSmart on Wedgewood Lane.

Can you please tell me where you're getting this information - I want to enroll again.

The information is available from the Southwest Florida Water Management District (http://www18.swfwmd.state.fl.us/Erp/Erp/Search/ErpSearch.aspx). Each time you go there, you must do a search by specifying a date range, and on the Location/Other tab, selecting Sumter County.

Before any heavy equipment can begin moving dirt, the developer must submit plans to the SWFWMD. As far as I know, it's one of the first permits pulled by a developer, so it's an early indication of a new development.
