Kitchen canisters

This may seem like a silly question but thought I would ask anyways. I'm trying to decide if I should pack my ceramic kitchen canisters I use to hold flour, sugar, etc. to take to Florida. Do you gals use regular canisters on your counters or do you use the type that seals like a twist on top. Obviously, I am thinking about keeping crawly things out of my kitchen.

If they are not airtight, they should probably go in the yard sale before you move. This was one of the lessons mrs. Mulligan & I learned the hard way when we moved to Naples 20 years ago.

You will want ones that seal in Florida.
