Has anyone noticed that the lovely "alley" of trees just out of the golf cart tunnel approaching Saddlebrook from the South is looking scruffy and full of moss and some trees and bushes are looking quite sick and even near death?

I wonder what is happening there? Is this part of the area that is managed by votes of residents and not the developer? Or what??? It is very unusual to see any paths not beautifully cared for.

That's sad. That "alley" is a place we always take our guests, as it is really beautiful. I hope the problem is temporary.

I'm with you, Gracie. We didn't go out that far in the Cart often but like going to Culvers in the Cart that way. It has deteriorated and a few calls to the guy that Bogie Shooter pointed out should do the trick.

I think a whole lot of companies are having trouble keeping people employed to perform maintenance. There are a lot of little spots that were better in previous years. If I was in charge I would fix the one you mentioned first. That is just amazing when its groomed.

Sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words. Think cell phone cameras.

You are correct but the pictures always come out upside down. I don't know how to get them to flip around.

Who's gonna call the tow truck to get me off the ground?

NOTHING personal Chi but I put a picture on here somehow around the holidays and someone flipped it for me. See I would have no problem with you doing it but if this clown beat you to it it wouldn't be good.

Imagine a Maicured Tunnel of Green that is now Jacked Up. That should do it. :1rotfl:

Remember when every section of The Villages was well manicured & residents didn’t have to make call after call to get things cleaned, trimmed & repaired? Those were the days

There is a part of The Villages north of 466 that a group of residents sued the developer about and as a result each of four or five people got $50,000 personally and the area was given permission to have elected reps make decisions. That area, along Morse has never looked as good to me as the rest of The Villages still under CDD control.

I see frequent trimming and fertilizing and removal of Spanish Moss of common areas south of 466.

Both of our statements may be based on our attitude and opinion and could be wrong.

Just wondering if you learned more about this after calling Sam Wartinbee.
