Word is out that priority fees will be increasing due to the championship courses not turning a profit in the last year. The solution appears to be raise the priority fees, probably along with increased green fees again next year. Anyone have any more info on this?

Is this valid information or a rumor?
Cost of things generally rise as time passes.
This sounds like a RUMOR.

When I was at Bealls yesterday, buying more swimming thongs, the sales clerk told me her manicurist's dog walker said the same thing, eventually fees are going up.

My husband's priority bill arrived yesterday $740 for all courses 1 year.

It is unlikely that those making the decision to raise prices will advertise their reasons. So, any 'information' is equally likely to be guesses.

What was it last year?
I can understand the courses not turning a profit. They are almost empty for the six month's of summer. The way to bring in more money is to lower the prices a lot more during those months. Instead, they have a very low fee beginning at 5:00pm when everyone wants to play.IMHO, they're doing the exact opposite of what they need to do to increase revenues.

Keep in mind, 5:00 is the hottest part of the day, and the most popular time for rain.

I checked my banking statement from last year and the priority fee is the same. My husband plays the Championship courses 3 days a week. In the Summer his tee times are between 8 and 8:30. e will not play later because it is too hot.
