Where are the best flea markets in the area? We have already been to the ones in Webster and in Mount Dora. Any other suggestions for good ones that you've been to?

:) Have not been to the Renningers in Mt. Dora but have driven down to the Renningers in Melbourne, Fl. a couple of times. Can anyone that's been to both tell me if they are similar? I like the one down south in Melbourne.

Like others have said, the Market of Marion. I go once a month. It's all indoors so rain is not an issue. Plenty of free parking.

To add to the day experience, I would suggest going through the forest...for at least one leg of the trip. :ho:

Just got back from the Marion flea market. We got there right at 8:00, and we were their first customers. It was dead in there. It took us about 15 minutes to get through the whole thing. Didn't buy a thing. Does anyone know of any good flea markets that sells collectibles and garage sale type things or estate sale type things or consignment auction type things?

Wrong day to go and certainly the wrong time, There is much more in the winter time and crowded to where it's hard to move.

There are two large antique centers in Wildwood. The bigger one is on 44 just about a quarter mile west of 301. As soon as you go over the overpass, get in the left turn lane. It's all different vendors and everything is priced so that the operators can sell the item.

The second one is similar but smaller, it's in the shopping on 301 about 1/2 mile north of 44, it's on the eastside, there is a post office and Ace Hardware on one side, and it's next to the supermarket.

My brother-in-law goes to Markets of Marion regularly. I been with him a few times. It's huge.

He gets his hair cut there every few weeks, the cost is $8. Driving down the street close to the market at a barber shop there is a sign that reads "We fix $8 haircuts". Too funny.

Give it another chance we’ve been going to Market of Marion since the 90s when my in laws lived in Ocala and always purchase something if it’s even only fruits and vegetables.
