You are probably referring to the construction site on the west side of Powell about 1/8-mile south of 466A. It will be a memory care facility.

The lot across from the Wildwood Community Center, a Bank will be built on that lot.
Needless to say, the property owners are upset.

Needless to say, the property owners are upset. It won't be a bank. It will be a one-story office building for the Citizens First Bank operations.

The city of Wildwood could have sold that property to anyone. Would the homeowners rather have a service station or an apartment building? Citizens First Bank operations will be a better neighbor.

Moral of the story. You should never buy property backed up to a vacant lot on a major roadway. Progress, good or bad, never seems to stop.

Probably the best philosophy is never buy a home that backs up to vacant property period. Tamarind Grove and Trailwinds e.g.

I asked a question and it truly didn't get a straight answer but a lot of people just wanting to weigh in about other stuff. Guess I'll ask someone at that Walgreens or the library across the road what it is.
