I know the subject of dentists has been discussed many times before, and I apologize for hitting it again -- but, I need the services of a "gentle" (aka non-painless, non-threatening) dentist. As a result of facial reconstruction surgery some time ago, I'm left with a major phobia about dentists. They petrify me!

Again, I apologize for bringing up this subject again, but I would appreciate help from anyone who can point me in the right direction.

i would highly recommend don burbank for a pleasant, competent dentist and staff. most of whom have been with him here in the villages for many years.
located on 441 just right of the golf cart bridge and golf cart legal accessible.

Great question dancerbill!

I swear it's like some Dentists just don't care if they scare/hurt the patient or not. I had a crown done where the tooth hurt like heck for like 2 years after the crown.

I suspected that aggresive rooting out of the parent tooth was too harsh.

Next crown, asked Dr. Dentist to please grind slower, no joy, same darn thing from the same Dentist, tooth hurt like heck for another year after the procedure.

Changed Denists and have not had a problem since. The new guy plays guitar in a band for thrills...cool guy...very easy going fellow.

Good question searching for a gentle Dentist! It's like the wife says, "there is a Dentist on every corner" so keep looking dancer!

"gentle dentist" sounds like an oxymoron.

He sounds like what I'm looking for! Is he located anywhere near The Villages?

I too recommend Dr. Donald Burbank on 227/41, near the golf cart bridge. AND should you have to have a root canal or oral surgery I can't say enough about Dr. Alex Ghazal.

I take good care of my teeth, but I am a chicken. These men are both excellent at their trade and gentle.

"gentle dentist" sounds like an oxymoron.

I was thinking the same thing. Glad to see some recommendations.

Can anyone recommend a gentle dental Hygienist?? I have a lot of sensitivity around my receding gums so I need to find someone here who is extra gentle when cleaning.
Thanks!
