The FTC is exploring ways to tax internet sites to spread the money to Commercial Outlets. Once the government is funding "journalists", what will be the strings attached to those funds?

If anything as loopy as this actually passed, Drudge and anyone else would move their hosting overseas.

That's the beauty of the Internet. It doesn't matter if the server is in Kansas or Antarctica. It'll be the same ".com" to anyone.
