We are coming down to close in a week and a half and were wondering on the progress of the Fishhawk Rec Center in Buttonwood. Is it done or close to being done? Do all rec centers offer the same amenities or do they differ? We only walked through one once and were impressed. I think it was in Amelia.

I was by there yesterday. I would guess that it is a month or two before it opens. They have most of the landscaping done, looks great, sod yet to go in. Nets were up on pickleball and tennis courts but no wind curtins yet. Don't know about the inside.
As far as I know the neighborhood recreation centers they are now building seem to have the same amenities. They seem to all have a family pool, pool tables, large kitchen, large rec room and a card room. The Regional Recreation centers are the ones with the sport pool, larger rec room, pottery-art room and many side rooms for gatherings.

We bought in Buttonwood on Friday --and hope to be in by the end of the year --so 2 months is great timing ----

Yeah, we've been working on our for almost a month now. Still seems like there's plenty more elephant to eat.

Fishhawk is literally right around the corner from where we will be (on Claverton). :MOJE_whot: We bought the lot sight unseen on the recommedation of our realtor who knew (hopefully! :pepper2:) JUST what we wanted. We'll be down to check it out next month and plan to begin building in September. We won't be down full time for another year, though. Well be sure to chek out the progress when we get down there! (Last time we were there it was a pile of sand - much like our house!
:2excited: in michigan!
