I'm not Tony, but I'll be glad to try to help you, Wendyquat. On the home page, you will see a list of "Talk of the Villages Forums". Each forum includes a description, so you can select the right forum in which to start a new thread. In the case of your question about any horse clubs in TV, you could post it in the forum called "Clubs of the Villages".

So, click on the forum titled "Clubs of the Villages". Under the ads at the top of the page this opens, you will see a small rectangle blue button entitled "New Thread".

Click the "New Thread" button and post your question.

See how easy that was! I hope.

I'm sure everyone appreciates the ads when they start to look for something. It's just like on television, no one wants to hear all the commercials, but everyone wants to watch the shows. Same thing there, no commercials, no shows. It's just one of those necessary evils.

Ads on television are NOT a necessary evil. Ads on TOTV are a necessary benefit. They're not bothersome at all and they are there when you need them. I'm happy to support TOTV advertisers.

Personally I rather enjoy the ads. Some of the services are very interesting and I find some to be unique to TV.

Speaking of ads, Comcast isn't getting their money's worth. When I click on them I get a website not found error. It could be just me.

With respect to broadcast ("free") TV, it seems like some of the ads have more artistry than many of the programs on the regular channels anyway.

I will admit though that most of the time I view one of the ads on TOTV it is by accident. I do check out the new ones though. You can only see Jerome's so many times.

In 1967 I was stationed at Edwards in the Mojave desert. This was the first time I had seen cable tv and not had to use an antenae................sure was nice not having any commercials.
