Just go have it laminated. So much easier (and probably cheaper). We did ours and have had no problems with it being laminated.

Maybe you can compose one on your computer, print it out, then have it laminated at an office supply store. Or buy a laminator for around $35. (I think.)

We found a simple solution, head to your local Staples Office Supply Store or Office Depot. Have them laminate your current Medicare card. It works well and no need to send your numbers to any outside vendo.

I laminated the new one they sent me and have had no problems having it accepted. Laminate machine from Amazon for $24 with a couple sheets of laminate. I also bought a box of the 8.5 X 11 sheets and laminate lots of things I want to keep.

Also all these pack and ship places will laminate it for you for around $7.
