:) I know I have read posts here that it is next to impossible to get them on the phone. Heck of a way to do business...... but it is a monopoly!

Based on information at USPS.com they should be open.

Mail was delivered yesterday.

So much for "Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds". Doesn't mention 10 mph breezes.

Billy our postal station is Terra de sol zip code 32159 it was on TV all day in the crawl at the bottom of the screen that we wouldn't get mail. Me and none of my neighbors did. Today I checked and nothing for me or the other 4 people checking. Maybe or postal person just didn't come to work. Len

My understand is the post office never picks up their phone. They’re too busy sorting or something.

We did not have mail delivered yesterday although the post office email showed that we were expecting a few pieces of mail.

About ten this morning I saw three crews along 466 who had their trucks full to overflowing with debris from trees.

Thank you to those workers who quickly cleaned up and thank you to whoever sent them to do so.

The Post Office rarely answers the phone, and that is the way it should be. Do your mail business online or in person, but don't waste taxpayer money by expecting them to talk to you on the phone.

A simple computer generated message would suffice. I can't see a major waste of tax payers money. I have to go to the post office to pick up membership checks and scholarship donations, which are stamped and sent to a box that is rented by the Opera Club, Again I can't see a waste of Tax Payers Money.

Huh? I agree that a computer generated message would suffice. But, apparently, some people want to talk to a live person, which would waste taxpayer money.
