For those who are interested, here's this week’s update video.

The Villages 9-8-19 Construction Update (new audio) - YouTube (https://youtu.be/gy5AiXdAdAA)

The residential areas are shot with a side view instead of direction of travel like I normally do, I'm not sure if I like the way it turned out and would be interested in your feedback. This also resulted in a longer than normal video.

This is the audio remastered version of the one that I posted a few hours ago, the audio track was worse than anticipated once uploaded to YouTube. I reached out to a friend who game me a better technique to use instead of the “audio ducking” feature in the software and it appears to have a much better results, let me know what you think.

There are also some sneak peaks at some the areas under construction and not yet open to the public. It’s not really much to see as they are distance shots and to me, it still looks like just “moving dirt”, obviously there’s much more to it than that.

Watched the video last night. Excellent as always. When the audio went wonky my wife said “I bet he fixes that. He seems a perfectionist “. Didn’t really notice the sideways video wobble until you mentioned it. Overall another great production. Thank you.

The audio drove me nuts last night after I posted it. I reached out to a good friend for suggestions on how to fix it and woke up at 4:30 this morning to read the response and remaster the video. Much better, and yes I am a bit OCD.

Excellent video and a reminder to be diligent when buying a house with open land behind you.

Great job, as usual. To partially answer the question you posed about the turnpike noise, we were looking at some houses on Hickey Way on Sunday, and the noise, to us, was negligible. Now, it was a Sunday, so the traffic was likely lighter. But we hung around for quite awhile, and after just a couple minutes, didn't even notice the noise at all. No way would it be heard from inside a house. You might hear some if you were in a rear lanai, but that would likely become "white" noise very quickly.

Don,

Thank you for your videos. We especially like the more recent ones, including the 9-8-19 one since it gives us an aerial view of the new home we purchased in the Designer home development just north of the Cattail Rec Center, Edna's, and the food trucks.

We've shown the video to a view friends here in Oregon, and they were quite impressed with not only your drone flying skills, but your video editing, too.

I looked at your video archives and note well how our home site was just an empty, sandy lot just a few months ago, but now is in a bevy of beautiful homes.

Google Maps still shows us in a barren wasteland near Wildwood, but thankfully; I've located all the plot maps at the Sumter County website.

Can't wait for the bridge to Brownwood to be completed!

Great job! I love to see all the building around Brownwood and the Trial Winds area's. We won't be returning back home to the Villages until October and being able to keep up with the building is such fun! Thanks!

Would like to start by saying thanks. Video’s are fantastic.

Question-live in Fenney. Are you able to estimate once turnpike bridge up the distance from the Everglades Rec Center to Brownwood by golf cart path planned?

I get 3.5 miles using Google maps, probably longer depending on exact cart path.

Give or take a quarter mile, I'd say you were spot on.

Hello Don, et al,
Nice job Chief. Thank you for the effort. I am not a resident of The Villages but enjoy the drone tours of the properties. Flat - very flat down there! This place (The Villages) is huge - mind boggling and a bit overwhelming. Not being familiar with the lay of the land, I especially like when you slow down the video which allows me to follow along with your narration. Keep up the good work - I look forward to the next flight.
