I hope it means better luck getting tee times on Exec. courses. I had 8 players, none of which had more than 1 point, and we didn't get a tee time (I had a 3 hour window). I'm sure it had to do with Dorian, but tee times are getting tough.

I hear you but the reality is a lot of Courses we’re closed. Better luck next time and I would expand my window a bit more. :coolsmiley:

I agree some courses are closed which impacts the ability to get a tee time. I'm hopeful things will get better. I also notice that some days are easier to get tee times than other days. If I don't get a tee time "up here" many times I'll grab one at Fenney.
It will be interesting to see when all the courses are open and the snowbirds are back what the "points average" will have be below to get a tee time. I'd just like to know so I can plan accordingly.

That is a good question. Last snowbird season, the large group I run was only able to get tee times north of 466 or south of 44 with a typical average of 2.4 points. I would be denied if I included only the 20 or so executives in the "middle" of The Villages with a 3 hour window in the morning. We always played but some flexibility was required.

My experience has been - I don't usually get a tee time on a Championship course (south of 466) during the week if I'm requesting a morning tee time and I have non-priority members in the request. I don't usually get a tee time on an Exec. course (south of Lake Sumter) during the week if I have a group that has over 2.5 points and I'm requesting a morning tee time.
