I just moved to the Villages August. Still unpacking. Where does a single guy go to meet a nice (or maybe not so nice LOL) lady?

Join some of the clubs that are in the Villages. Check the Thursday The Villages Daily Sun Recreational Guide. It should give you a lot of ideas. And if you have a dog that is good with other dogs try the dog parks and especially Doggie Doo Run Run which is up CR101 about 1 mile north of Southern Trace Shopping Center.

Probably a lot of fraud you have to look out for in these kind of tours. I would expect many of these women are just looking for access to the US through a quick marriage to a US citizen.

We did have a neighbor who was renting her room to a very attractive woman from Russia. I miss seeing her around as she added some beauty to Lynnhaven. She was involved with some kind of church program that involves them sending people over there and others coming from Russia.

As the USA Today article states, one must be very careful as many of these tours are scams on one type or another.

Of course these women are looking for a quick marriage and to immigrate to the USA. Who can blame them?

BTW a friend's son married a Russian (Moldavian) woman he met when she was a teller at a local bank. She speaks six languages. They both joined the military and are doing very well.
