who see something wrong with this?
The Soros backed Center for American Progress advises President Obama.
Many of Obamas Czars have roots in that organization.
Obama sends $2 billion to Brazil to help them drill oil wells in the gulf.
Obama suspends American drilling in the gulf.
George Soros has $960 million invested in Brazilian oil companies.
Is something wrong with this picture?

I can't tell you how many times I have watched congressional hearings, press conferences with Gibbs or read newspaper articles, magazine articles, blogs et al, and thought 'do these people ever read, research or study anything on their own, or do they just rely on press releases and single sources for information?'
Do members of the today's big news organizations or people on the left have just a little bit of curiosity about the popularity of programs or books, or points of views that go against what they believe? Have they ever openmindedly read something that wasn't spoon fed down their throats? Have they ever taken one thing said about Obama and done their own research and followed the facts and drawn one conclusion with a logical thought process on their own?
I suppose it goes to the type of person who wants something given to them without working for it and thinking somebody has to take care of you.

Unless Soros caused the Deepwater Horizon to blow up, I'd say it was a 'happy coincidence' for him from a strictly financial point of view. I think Brazil is more interested in exporting all that oil (for currency) as they have quite the domestic plan to run on somestically produced alcohol.

You can't see the forest for the trees.

Do you really think it is a coincidence? Why do you think we are paying Brazil?

The tipping point in the OP was the destruction of the Deepwater Horizon. The rest of the 'conspiracy theory' only holds together if you have that event and it causes a suspension of drilling.
So unless George Soros blew up the DH, it IS a coincidence. Give the size of our economy, there's ALWAYS going to be SOMEONE who was in a position to profit IF some disaster happened.
A couple of years from now, people are going to be screaming at the folks who bought BP stock around now and made 60% on their money in a year or two. No conspiracy, just the way the market reacts to a disaster.
