We live in Santiago, and had a power outage for about 1.5 hours. We didn’t see anything in the morning paper about it, nor anything on the other, online news site.

Does anyone know what caused it?

If you go to your power company website, they usually have an outage report, it may or may not have the cause listed,

We are on SECO, and nothing on their website. Thanks, though.

OK, I had that happen once before, I called them, gave them my address, and they told me what happened (I was some equipment failure that actaully caused 2 outages in the Pinellas area in about a 3 week period).

We had a short outage when the utility hocked up some equipment. As suggested call the utility and ask. They will also call you when you have an outage if you register with them.

:) Don't know the cause but got two texts from SECO last night. Wasn't home but knew I would have to reset everything when we got there.

1st. text at 7:35pm reporting outage with estimate of 9:30 for it to come back.

2nd. text at 8:30 pm reporting power restored at 8:23pm

Sign up for notices. :coolsmiley:

Under promise and overdeliver, beautiful. :coolsmiley: Glad things worked out quickly.

When we were back up North and the Power would flicker or go out our lovely children would remark - Who forgot to pay the BILL! :boxing2::boxing2: I miss shots like that, NOT! I wonder how they got to be like that? :1rotfl:
