Naldo's Mexican Restaurant

Since I'm from San Diego, I'm pretty picky about my Mexican food and I FINALLY had a great meal at Naldo's on Wedgewood in Southern Trace plaza. Both the chile relleno and the refried beans were perfectly prepared and delicious.

In the U.S. ? Probably none. In China? Tons of dishes with only vegetables and those with meat have very little of it. Sauces there are to die for. Not Americanized. Having said that, I love well prepared Chinese food no matter where!

Oriental food that is prepared for example in China, every part of the chicken is cooked with the exception of the feathers, yes every part. :shocked:

The feathers have other uses.

Does that even exist? How can food coated in breeding and sugar be healthy? Now if there was a sushi buffet, that could be healthy.

I'm not a big fan of Mexican food but I have really enjoyed our meal at Naldo's. I really like the refried beans and loved the Chicken Fajitas.

If you want good sushi, go to VKI Japanese Steak House in Lake Sumter or Sakura at Spanish Springs or Colony Plaza.

That's American Chinese. Not even close to what is served in China.

So, this Naldo's. Is it where the short run Jalapenos was?

Naldo's Mexican Kitchen is located on Wedgewood Lane where Crispers used to be. Naldo's has great Margaritas; between the two of us we had the regular Margarita and a Strawberry Margarita. I have always thought the best Margaritas in The Villages are at Fiesta Grande in Colony Plaza. Naldo's is on par with Fiesta Grande. Sooooo good.

Food was very good. I had Steak Fajitas and hubby had chicken Chimichanga. The portion for the steak fajitas was very large, more than I've ever had in any Mexican restaurant I have been to. The rice is not nearly as flavorful as Fiesta Grande in Colony Plaza but the refried beans were delicious. Naldo's includes guacamole with their Fajitas which Fiesta Grande does not include. Also included with the fajitas is the usual lettuce and diced tomatos and sour cream.

We will go back to Naldo's.
