I understand open houses held almost daily in TV. Is the Daily Sun the best place to find the list of open houses, and where can the Daily Sun be purchased? If TV open houses are listed anyplace else besides the Daily Sun, any information is appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Yes the Sun post the open house every day and they run usually from like 10to 12 or 1 to 2 so different houses are open at different times.

The mail box areas usually have newspapers for sale there or Barnes and Noble. Best time is to get it early morning. Also have a map of the area and it will help you get around. Have Fun

Publix Supermarkets also sell the paper plus have additional copies of the free Villages Real Estate insert available in the boxes outside of the store.

Laura.

If you read this forum a lot you may know that Boomer is very interested in investments. Well I just love real estate. Not my career but just an interest I have always had AND the FIRST thing I look at in the Daily Sun every day is the open house page. They have a page of 6 or 8 listings for new homes and another half page for resales every day except holidays.

Sweetie and I will go to an open house a couple of times a week. We know that the developers are always "tweaking" their home plans and we like to see what they have done that is different and new. We go to new houses not resales because that just seems....."nosy" I guess, to me.

There are always others like us who are at open houses who own in TV but just are interested in seeing a different floor plan or location.

There used to be balloons outside each open house but now I think they have started using a big sign. The agent inside has never tried to "sell" the house but is there to answer questions. I like the "no pressure" attitude of the Villages representatives. That really sold me.

Good luck Laura and enjoy your search.
